Food!

Well, the new kittens are getting wet kitten food now. Truman was really lovin' it this morning. I went to check on them and he had it all over his mouth.

They woke me up this morning trying to get out of their nest...I have it blocked so they can't roam around yet. However, the time has come to set them free! I'll be bringing them into the living room with us a little more to get them socialized. Which means I have to put Pepper in my bedroom while they are out and about. She has been known to be a little too rough with the babies.

So, I'll be keeping kittens corraled all day! Yipee Yeehaw! This so much fun! Kittens are the best!

Whew! Fireworks, food & fun...OH MY! (to the beat of lions, tigers & bears...OH MY) LOL! It was a busy 4th weekend but it's over. So, back to kitty life.

All the new kittens are growing like crazy...except for Harry of course. He is gaining a little weight finally. We are hoping he will grow up to be bigger than his brothers. He is an extreme face and has show cat potential. I don't breed specifically for extreme face kitties but my male is extreme so I will get extreme faced babies sometimes.

Harry can be a lot of work. Anytime you have a "runt" you have to really watch to make sure he is getting fed. And, in my case the other "Big Boys" push him away. He's so much smaller he hardly gets to eat. Well, that's where I come in. I have to feed him every 2 or 3 hours so he'll get what he needs to grow. I feed him a mixture of goats milk and chicken baby food.

Well, I need to wake everybody up and get busy with my day! Litter, eye cleaning, feeding, grooming...........

Back to business!

I decided to start posting again! And, Wow! What a day! My little Pepsi went home to Michigan! Yup...that's right...Michigan. Rita and Bob drove 11 hours to pick up our little Pepsi. We are located in Tennessee. That just goes to show the power of kitten cuteness!

Rain, rain GO AWAY!

Oh boy! It's raining, it's pouring! But, the day must go on. At least I was able to open the widows for some fresh air. Puddy (my male breeder) loves to have the windows open. He's been a little down lately. But, when you open the widows his eyes light up. He's so funny. The kids are home today and stuck inside. I hope the sun comes out soon! LOL!

Mornin'!

Good morning to all!! This morning has already been a hectic one! My kids have a Thanksgiving dinner at school and I've been cooking a turkey breast all morning. You know it's such hard work after you put it in the oven! Ha ha! Well, I did find an interested site for you Persian cat lovers out there! My First Post!

Howdy all you out there in webland! I decided to finally catch up with the times and start blogging! I raise persian and himalayn kittens. So, I will mainly post about them. I will also try to post any helpful advise about caring for your kitty. Please check back weekly to see what's going on at the Sweet Pea Cattery! Now, I'm off to vaccinate my new little kitties! They are such cuties!
